教师简介: 

中山大学“百人计划”引进教授,博士生导师。先后于中国科学技术大学计算机系、香港城市大学计算机系、美国罗格斯大学商学院、美国普渡大学计算机系、香港城市大学语言学与翻译系、新加坡科技研究局资讯通信研究院从事数据挖掘、文本挖掘、自然语言处理、机器学习的研究工作,在国际知名期刊和会议如PAMI,TOIS,Information Sciences,KAIS,IPM,IJCAI,ACL,SIGIR等发表论文30余篇。于2012博士毕业于香港城市大学,被授予香港城市大学研究生类最高荣誉的奖学金—周亦卿研究生院奖学金,该奖学金表彰在科研上取得卓越成绩的在校研究生,全校每年仅6-7个名额,申请人为当年计算机系唯一获奖者。回国前就职于新加坡科技研究局资讯通信研究院(Institute for Infocomm Research,A*STAR)数据分析研究所(Data Analytics Department),除从事文本数据挖掘的基础研究外,也同工业界紧密合作,领导或参与了同中国平安、新加坡星展银行(DBS)、联想(新加坡)、联想(新加坡)及渣打银行的合作项目,在探索数据挖掘和大数据的应用研究方面具有丰富的经验。

目前的研究内容是:依托中山大学数据科学与计算机学院的大数据科学研究中心和大数据与计算智能研究所,开展文本数据挖掘及大数据的研究工作,主要聚焦在文本的深度语义理解,涉及的相关技术包括自然语言处理及机器学习等;除从事基础研究外,本团队也很重视应用研究,期望能够将高水平研究成果应用化,解决产业界的实际问题,做到产学研相结合。
