Chen Long is an associate professor at School of Data and Computer Science, Sun Yat-Sen University. He has obtained Ph.D from Wuhan University under the supervision of Prof.Qingquan Li. He was also a co-trained Ph.D at Social Robot Lab, the National University of Singapore. During his studies he had the opportunity to visit exciting robotics/autonomous vehicle labs at MIT, KIT and JACOBs.
His researches are always around Intelligent Vehicle (IV) areas. During my Ph.D., he has developed an Autonomous Vehicle Perception System with functions like Road/Lane/Traffic signs/Pedestrian/Vehicle Detection, Travelling Environment Mapping, Vehicle Location, Scene Flow/Mapping/3D Reconstruction by Stereo Vision. He is interested in computer vision, machine learning and data mining with a focus on Image and Point clouds Processing, Stereo Vision and Driver behavior Analysis based on mobile devices.
He's always looking for motivated interns/students interested in machine learning, computer vision and Android/IOS develop. Please contact him for details!
